The mission of the Pride Empowered Resource Center is to provide an open, safe, inclusive space and community for all LGBTQIA+ identifying persons. Providing a growing spectrum of programs, resources, outreach, and advocacy. We envision a space that is filled with the sounds of joy, laughter, conversations, and continued positive growth.

The vision of The Pride Empowered Resource Center is to enhance and sustain the health and well-being of the LGBTQIA+ community by identifying activities, programs, and services that create community; empower community members; provide essential resources; advocate for civil and human rights; and embrace, promote and support our cultural diversity.

Get Involved
Since the creation of Pride Empowered, educating the community has been at the forefront of the Hub and its services. Social, fun, and networking events and activities are great, but without the education of our supportive Allies and the members from within the LGBTQ+ community, the Hub could not have transformed RVA into the supportive environment it is today. Education continues to create change and bridge the gap needed for positive growth around the world.
